TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
